I am thankful for Nyquil

More specifically I am thankful for modern medicine. I am fighting off a really bad sore throat and cold and I take modern medicine for granted every time I am sick or in pain. I am all for trying home remedy's but there is a reason that God allowed medicine to progress from slapping a leach on you and praying you make it through the night. Mothers don't have to worry about whether or not the baby or mother will make it through birth, a cut no longer means amputation and I don't have to toss and turn all night because my throat hurts. People knock modern medicine all the time but without it life expectancy would still be like 40 and I would be only 9 years from death so, yeah, thanks medicine peeps!
