I know I am a week late but I am usually late with posting. Overall, we had a perfect spring break. As I said in the last post for the first part of the week everyone was spread out but we eventually came back together and had some great times. Every year Mike and I take off a few days of spring break to do fun stuff with the kids and it just gets more fun every year as the kids get old enough to help plan. Here is our day by day break down.

Thursday: Mike kicked us all out of the house at 8 am to go to the store and buy the plants for our garden. We spent the whole day planting and figuring and having fun being together outside. I know it doesn't sound like much but we really did have a blast. My oldest son is becoming such a big help to mike and I and the two little ones keep us laughing as we work. We then called it a day and watched family movies and probably ate something fatty but good.

Friday: This was our kids planned day. We were able to keep our promise to take the little ones to Build a bear so that they could adopt thier own friend like Beau did when he was younger. Princess picked a Lamb that is named Princess Lamby (see the trend) and Link picked out a puppy that he named Mr. Puppy (he says it like Pucky). We had fun building them, dressing and just the whole process. Beau even picked out a new outfit for Mr toad (his old friend).
We then moved on to the candy store in the mall and the kids each got to fill up a bag of candy that they could eat on all weekend. Ok, so mike and I got one too! It was great to see them just be kids in a candy store for lack of a better phrase. Link was insane crazy with the choices and Beau kept trying to pick out stuff to give to other people. Princess seemed to think her bag needed to be bigger than the boys but in the end everyone was happy and we headed to the next location.

You guessed it, Chuck E Cheese! The place that is overcrowded and where Mom gets stuck watching the table and food while everyone else has fun. No, it really is fun. The kids had a blast and they earned enough tickets to get plenty of cheap plastic toys. We did have one scary moment when I realized that the blong curly head that I was watching was not Link but some random kid and we had to find him. As you can see above we found him and then my heart started back up. Here are a few more pics.
We then went home for a game night and to recover. It was a fun day. We spent the rest of the weekend just working around the house together, playing games, baking and having a great time together. I hope all of you had a great time too.

Sounds like a fun spring break! I'm already ready for our next holiday in May!
Looks like all y'all had a great time. Are they making plans for summer now???
What fun!! Of course I love all this time with "baby Rino" while he is, in fact, a baby, but I will also be really happy when our kids are old enough to have real family events that everyone can participate in!
