Snow, love and other great things

I was blessed with a 5 day weekend! That's right, Heavenly Father saw that the south was full of overworked people and he opened the clouds and let the ground get covered in a thick layer of snow. In the south that means a few inches and that it puts everything on hold until it melts. We had a lot of fun and most of all I was able to spend time with my kids. Notice I did not say husband and that is because he was stuck at work for 3 days. Yup, my radio man had to live up to the old saying that the show must go on and had to sleep in the studio last week. I could tell from the texts and calls that he kept sending that he was home sick and would have rather been at home with his little family. The kids fought each night about who was going to get to sleep with mom and we all had fun playing games, watching movies and just being stuck at home.

Today is valentines day and I want to take a moment to let the world know just how blessed and lucky I am to be married to Michael Taggard. He is the best thing that could have happened to me and even after being in love for 12 years he still makes me blush and giggle when he winks at me. I know that we are an eternal family and that our marriage will last forever and that makes what we have even more special. He is a great father, husband and best friend. Happy valentines day, Lover.

In other none mushy things, we had a great weekend in Springdale visiting Justen, Amber and Baby Ryan. He is getting so big. We went shopping and ate out a lot. We even got to visit with Eddie and Aria!!!! It has been so long since we have been able to sit down and chat since we seem to keep missing each other either in Arkadelphia or in Fayetteville. Their son is so cute and is getting so grown up. It amazed me to hear him talking and even using sign language. He is going to be a great kid. I just hope mine don't scare him off!

I hope all of you have a great valentines week!

Aw, thanks, Desiree! We are so glad that we got to visit with you guys too! I still can't believe that Elijah was in such a good mood that night even though we let him stay up so late.

You took care of all of them all by yourself!? Good job! I would hate being snowed in at work. Has he learned to pack a bag?
